I have a table lamp with a valence in the Tiffany style. The colored glass pieces are lit by a pair of warm yellow bulbs. The lamp sits in the window of my front room.

I try to remember to turn it on when I leave my apartment to go walking. That way, on my return, I can see the glow of the light from afar and be cheered by its inviting glow.
